Alvarez & Marsal in Tampa, FL is seeking a senior finance professional to support CFO Services for private equity‑held portfolio companies, focusing on cash generation, EBITDA improvement and performance monitoring through hands‑on client involvement.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in accounting/finance, due diligence, restructuring, and investment banking or private equity, with strong financial modeling, data analytics and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited 4-year college/university with educational concentration in relevant areas (accounting, finance, economics) preferred but not required.
• Over 12 years of experience related to: Accounting / Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• Proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Hypothesis / Scope Development: connect with client to facilitate information gathering and define analyses.
• Project Management and Implementation: lead components of projects and design actionable plans.
• Leadership: guide team, accept accountability, build complementary teams.
• Financial Acumen: complete proficiency in financial modeling and statements analysis, drive P&L/B/S accountability.
