Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a senior-level CFA/CPA-leaning professional to support CFO services for private equity portfolio companies. The role emphasizes hypothesis development, project leadership, and financial acumen to improve EBITDA and cash flow.

You will work with senior management to design and implement value-creating initiatives, analyze complex financial data, and present clear recommendations. Extensive accounting/finance experience is required, with CPA/CFA/MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics and presenting insights.
• Strong ability to interpret financial statements and drive actionable conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Develop hypotheses and scope for analyses to prove or disprove assumptions.
• Lead project components across multiple service lines and manage client expectations.
• Promote data-driven decisions and actionable plans with senior management.
• Ensure P&L and balance sheet accountability and drive financial improvements.
• Demonstrate capability in Controllership, Finance and Accounting Advisory Services.
