OVERVIEW:

A&M CFO Services collaborates with private equity-held portfolio companies to provide solutions that preserve and generate value. Our goal is to enhance transparency of key drivers and business performance, support increasing cash flow and EBITDA, and involve ourselves directly in our clients' operations. We aim to ensure portfolio companies have credible plans and the capacity to execute and deliver financial results.

PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS:

Hypothesis / Scope Development

• Engage with clients to facilitate information gathering
• Lead and facilitate client interviews, ensuring comprehensive data collection
• Determine necessary analyses to validate assumptions, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
• Develop frameworks based on project parameters
• Derive actionable conclusions from analyses

Project Management and Implementation

• Lead project components across multiple service lines and manage smaller projects independently
• Manage client expectations proactively, minimizing risks and negative impacts
• Create straightforward, actionable plans and lead individual workstreams
• Design initiatives to improve cash flow, EBITDA, and organizational structure to enhance client value
• Identify risks early, develop contingency plans, and communicate effectively with clients
• Collaborate with senior management and obtain buy-in on actionable plans

Leadership

• Leverage industry expertise and prior experience to guide teams and foster innovative thinking
• Take accountability for issues affecting clients and teams
• Build effective teams by utilizing individual talents and capabilities

Financial Acumen

• Proficiency in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and accounting treatments
• Drive P&L and B/S accountability
• Utilize tools for change management
• Interpret financial statements and streamline processes
• Experience in controllership, finance, and accounting advisory services

ACCREDITATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Degree from an accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance, economics, or related fields preferred but not required
• Over 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity
• Proficiency in financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred but not required

The salary range is $150,000-$225,000 annually, depending on education, experience, skills, and location. A discretionary bonus is also offered based on performance.
