PEPI - CFO Services - Director

OVERVIEW:

A&M CFO Services collaborates with private equity-held portfolio companies, providing solutions to preserve and generate value. Our goal is to enhance transparency of key drivers and performance, support increasing cash flow and EBITDA, and involve ourselves directly in clients' operations. We aim to ensure portfolio companies have credible plans and the capacity to execute and achieve financial outcomes.

PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS:

Hypothesis / Scope Development

• Engage with clients to gather information
• Facilitate client interviews, ensuring comprehensive data collection
• Determine necessary analyses to validate assumptions, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
• Develop frameworks based on project parameters
• Formulate actionable conclusions from analyses

Project Management and Implementation

• Lead project components across multiple service lines; manage smaller projects independently
• Manage client expectations proactively, minimizing risks
• Create clear, actionable plans and lead workstreams independently
• Design initiatives to improve cash flow, EBITDA, and organizational structure
• Identify risks early, develop contingency plans, and communicate effectively with clients
• Collaborate with senior management and secure buy-in for plans

Leadership

• Leverage industry expertise and prior experience to guide teams and foster innovation
• Take responsibility for issues affecting clients and teams
• Build teams by leveraging individual talents and capabilities

Financial Acumen

• Proficiency in financial modeling, statement analysis, and accounting treatments
• Drive P&L and B/S accountability
• Utilize tools for change management
• Interpret financial statements and streamline processes
• Experience in controllership, finance, and accounting advisory services

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduates of accredited 4-year colleges/universities in relevant fields preferred but not required
• Over 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity
• Proficiency in financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required

The salary range is $150,000-$225,000 annually, depending on education, experience, skills, and location. A discretionary bonus is also offered, based on individual and firm performance.
