OVERVIEW:

A&M CFO Services collaborates with private equity-held portfolio companies, providing solutions to preserve and generate value. Our goal is to enhance transparency of key drivers and business performance, support increasing cash flow and EBITDA, and involve ourselves directly in client operations. We aim to ensure portfolio companies have credible plans and the capability to execute and deliver financial results.

PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS:

Hypothesis / Scope Development

• Engage with clients to gather information
• Lead client interviews, ensuring comprehensive data collection
• Determine analysis needs to validate assumptions, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Utilize industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
• Develop frameworks based on project parameters
• Derive actionable conclusions from analyses

Project Management and Implementation

• Lead project components across multiple service lines; independently manage smaller projects
• Manage client expectations proactively, minimize risks
• Create clear, actionable plans and lead workstreams independently
• Design initiatives to improve cash flow, EBITDA, and organizational structure to enhance client value
• Identify risks early, develop contingency plans, and communicate effectively with clients
• Collaborate with senior management to obtain buy-in for plans

Leadership

• Apply industry expertise and prior experience to guide teams and foster innovative thinking
• Take responsibility for issues identified for both clients and the team
• Build teams by leveraging individual talents and capabilities

Financial Acumen

• Proficiency in financial modeling, statement analysis, and accounting treatments
• Drive P&L and B/S accountability
• Use tools and resources to facilitate change management
• Interpret financial statements and streamline related processes
• Experience in controllership, finance, and accounting advisory services

ACCREDITATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related fields preferred but not required
• Over 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity
• Strong skills in financial modeling, data analytics, and presentation
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred but not required
