OVERVIEW:

A&M CFO Services work with private equity-held portfolio companies, providing solutions to preserve and generate value. Our goal is to improve transparency to key drivers and business performance, support increasing cash and EBITDA, and offer hands-on involvement in clients' operations. We help PE firms ensure their portfolio companies have credible plans and the ability to deliver financial outcomes.

PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS:

Hypothesis / Scope Development

• Engage with clients to facilitate information gathering
• Guide and conduct client interviews, ensuring relevant data collection
• Define necessary analyses to validate assumptions, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
• Develop frameworks based on project parameters
• Derive actionable conclusions from analyses

Project Management and Implementation

• Lead project components across multiple service lines and manage smaller projects independently
• Manage client expectations proactively, minimizing risks
• Create clear, actionable plans and oversee workstreams
• Design initiatives to generate cash, improve EBITDA, and optimize organizational structure
• Identify risks early, create contingency plans, and communicate with clients
• Collaborate with senior management and obtain buy-in for plans

Leadership

• Utilize industry expertise and prior experience to guide teams and foster innovation
• Take responsibility for issues affecting clients and teams
• Build teams leveraging individual talents and capabilities

Financial Acumen

• Proficiency in financial modeling, statement analysis, and accounting treatments
• Drive P&L and B/S accountability
• Use tools for change management
• Interpret financial statements and streamline processes
• Experience in controllership, finance, and accounting advisory services

ACCREDITATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Degree from an accredited 4-year college/university in relevant fields preferred but not required
• Over 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity
• Strong skills in financial modeling, data analytics, and presentation
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred but not required

The salary range is $150,000-$225,000 annually, depending on education, experience, skills, and location. A discretionary bonus is also offered based on performance.
