OVERVIEW:

A&M CFO Services collaborates with private equity-held portfolio companies, providing solutions to preserve and generate value. Our goal is to enhance transparency of key drivers and business performance, support increasing cash flow and EBITDA, and involve ourselves directly in client operations. We aim to ensure portfolio companies have credible plans and the capacity to execute and deliver financial results.

Professional Expectations

Hypothesis / Scope Development

• Engage with clients for information gathering
• Lead client interviews, ensuring comprehensive data collection
• Determine necessary analyses to validate assumptions, ensuring timely and accurate execution
• Utilize industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
• Develop frameworks within project parameters
• Derive actionable conclusions from analyses

Project Management and Implementation

• Lead project components across multiple service lines; independently manage smaller projects
• Manage client expectations proactively, minimizing risks
• Create clear, actionable plans and lead workstreams independently
• Design initiatives to improve cash flow, EBITDA, and organizational structure
• Identify risks early, develop contingency plans, and communicate effectively with clients
• Collaborate with senior management, securing buy-in for plans

Leadership

• Apply industry expertise and prior experience to guide teams and foster innovative thinking
• Take accountability for client and team issues
• Build teams leveraging individual talents and capabilities

Financial Acumen

• Proficiency in financial modeling, statement analysis, and accounting treatments
• Drive P&L and B/S accountability
• Utilize tools for change management
• Interpret financial statements and streamline processes
• Experience in controllership, finance, and accounting advisory roles

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related fields preferred
• Over 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity
• Strong financial modeling, data analytics, and presentation skills
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred but not required

The annual salary range is $150,000-$225,000, depending on education, experience, skills, and location. A discretionary bonus is also offered.
