Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a PEPI - CFO Services Director for Financial Reporting Advisory. The role focuses on advising PE portfolio companies on accounting and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to US GAAP and preparing SEC filings and IPO readiness support.

The candidate will lead data collection, client interviews, and complex financial analyses, while managing the delivery of pre- and post-deal reporting, liquidity optimization, and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-15+ years of relevant work experience in both public accounting and industry.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting changes (e.g. revenue recognition and lease transactions).
• Experience preparing and reviewing pre- and post-deal financial reporting to meet contractual/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through the IPO readiness journey by drafting SEC reporting and providing audit support.
• Investigate and remediate EBITDA volatility and unexplained results through advisory or interim management roles.
• Drive working capital optimization and performance analytics to support value preservation and generation.
