Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a seasoned director for its PEPI - CFO Services team, focusing on Financial Reporting Advisory for private equity portfolio companies. The role centers on applying US GAAP expertise to preserve and generate value across transactions and ongoing reporting processes.

You will lead engagements, guide clients through IPO readiness, and ensure accurate pre- and post-deal financial statements while coordinating cross-functional teams in a dynamic advisory environment.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of relevant work experience in both public accounting and industry.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP and financial reporting advisory for CFO services.
• Ability to lead client engagements and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP and advise on complex guidance for clients.
• Prepare and review pre- and post-deal financial reporting to meet contractual/regulatory requirements.
• Guide clients through IPO readiness by drafting SEC reporting and providing audit support.
• Lead project workstreams and manage client engagements across CFO Services.
