Job summary

Mercy San Juan Medical Center, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a strategic Director Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory Services to lead high-quality cardiopulmonary care across the organization. You will coordinate operations, guide policy development, and drive continuous improvement with executive and staff collaboration.

The role requires a track record managing mid to large hospital services, a California RCP license, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with at least five years of related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience
• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the State of California

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, provide and deliver high-quality cardiopulmonary services
• Lead analysis and projection of present and future needs for cardiopulmonary services
• Collaborate with hospital executive leaders and department staff to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, certification, licensure and government standards
• Drive continuous quality improvement and expansion to meet community needs
