Qualifications

Responsibilities
  1. Manage provider incentive programs, working with STARs and HEDIS performance metrics to ensure provider networks meet quality standards through competence, practice screenings, and care management.
  2. Develop incentive programs that include bonus structures similar to CMS STAR ratings, but focused at the provider level.
  3. Create reporting tools, present updates, track program effectiveness, and monitor financials to ensure positive return on investment.
Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of management-level experience in managed care or medical management programs, including at least five years at the Director level or above.
  • Strong knowledge of the business environment, strategy changes, and emerging needs.
  • Understanding of federal and state laws, NCQA regulations, and all aspects of Medical Management.
  • Experience in fiscal and human resource management techniques.
  • Proven ability to establish effective relationships with employees, healthcare professionals, physicians, senior management, and the public.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required by business needs.

The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually, based on full-time employment, with compensation factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility.
