Capital One seeks a Director of Branded Network Business Development (Remote-Eligible) to lead issuer partnerships across the Discover Network, drive go-to-market strategies, and build a high-performing team.

This role demands deep banking industry knowledge, exceptional negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% to close strategic deals and expand network adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years in client-facing go-to-market roles (growth, sales, customer success, revenue ops).
• At least 3 years in negotiation and deal structuring in B2B environments.
• At least 3 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-end deal cycle from initial executive pitch through contract negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with Finance, Pricing, Strategy, Product and Operations to manage existing clients and drive new deals.
• Develop a team to source new prospects for Branded Network Sales.
• Gather market feedback to refine network value propositions and go-to-market approach.
• Travel as needed, up to 75%.
