Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a Director of Product Management to own the global billing and commercial platform strategy. You will lead the vision for converging legacy enterprise billing with modern cloud billing, enabling frictionless customer journeys and enterprise-grade invoicing.

You will coordinate across Product, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Legal to drive monetization, pricing, and governance. This role demands senior leadership in a complex fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in product management, billing, fintech, or cloud revenue operations.
• Experience architecting complex billing system integrations, merging legacy enterprise platforms with modern cloud systems.
• Expertise in usage-based monetization models, pricing enablement, metering, rating, and enterprise contract constructs.
• Ability to drive organizational change and influence delivery teams to adopt agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of financial compliance standards, including SOX controls across high-growth platforms.
• Strong cross-functional leadership to align Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Legal.
• Experience structuring billing and monetization platforms for AI technology and acquired platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overarching product vision and multi-year roadmap for billing and commercial platform across Compute, Delivery, and Security.
• Architect the convergence of legacy billing stacks with cloud compute billing to reduce customer friction.
• Enable product-led growth through frictionless journeys, credits, real-time cost visibility, and self-service management.
• Build enterprise commerce capabilities for negotiated pricing, complex commitments, discounts, credits, and consolidated billing.
• Partner with engineering to modernize delivery and maintain SOX compliance.
• Establish reusable commercial capabilities for rating, metering, entitlements, and invoicing to accelerate launches and M&A integrations.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with executives across Product, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Legal.
