Job summary

DIRECTV is seeking a Director of Procure to Pay Operations to lead the Accounts Payable function and scale it for growth. You will own the end-to-end AP lifecycle, manage banking payments, supplier onboarding, and master data integrity, while ensuring internal controls and fraud prevention.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with cross‑functional collaboration across Finance, IT, and Legal. You will guide a team of AP Managers, drive automation, and oversee Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.

Qualifications

• Seasoned AP leader with 5–7+ years in back‑office/shared services.
• Deep knowledge of AP lifecycle, including invoice processing, payments, supplier maintenance, and exception handling.
• Hands‑on experience with ad hoc payments, return EFTs, stale checks, and escheatment.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP Managers and develop back‑office staff.
• Oversee end‑to‑end non‑PO invoice processing and payment runs.
• Manage payment files including ACH, wire, checks, and international payments.
• Handle returned EFTs, stale-dated checks, and unclaimed property processes.
• Onboard suppliers, validate banking details, and maintain master data integrity.
• Maintain SOX controls, ensure tax reporting compliance, and mitigate fraud.
• Collaborate with IT, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Purchasing on process improvements.
• Develop a forward-looking AP strategy focused on automation and self-service.
