Job summary

DIRECTV seeks a Director of Procure to Pay Operations to lead its Accounts Payable function and guide it through its next growth phase. You will own the end-to-end AP lifecycle, including non-PO invoice processing, payment runs, master data integrity, and vendor onboarding in a high‑velocity, controlled environment.

You will manage a team of AP Managers, drive automation, and collaborate with IT, Treasury, and Tax to shape a forward‑looking AP strategy while maintaining strict internal controls

Qualifications

• Seasoned AP leader with 5–7+ years in back-office or shared services.
• Experience managing managers and AP operations, with deep knowledge of AP lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP Managers and back-office staff to deliver AP services.
• Oversee non-PO invoice processing, payment runs, and bank file management.
• Manage returned EFTs, stale-dated checks, and unclaimed property processes.
• Own supplier onboarding, master data integrity, and supplier changes.
• Ensure internal controls, SOX compliance, tax reporting, and fraud prevention.
• Collaborate with IT, Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Purchasing, and Sourcing on strategy.
• Drive automation, self-service tools, and system enhancements.
