Job summary

Tapestry, Inc. is seeking a Director, Americas Store Planning and Construction to lead the regional team responsible for Coach stores from early project definition through opening.

This role ensures disciplined execution across the North America portfolio with clear budget controls and opening readiness. You will partner with Architecture, Visual Merchandising, Finance, and Operations to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the brand’s design intent across the US, Canada and South

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• 12+ years in retail architecture/construction across multiple countries.
• Experience leading and developing Senior/Project Managers and large portfolios.
• Experience with feasibility studies, cost baselines and budget controls.
• Knowledge of safety, permitting, codes and contractor management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Coach construction delivery team across the US, Canada, and South America.
• Set priorities, expectations and accountability across the portfolio.
• Provide guidance to strengthen project management, construction, finance and leadership capabilities.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on ownership, quality and compliance.
• Direct planning and construction of Coach stores, renovations and openings.
• Align project plans with PMO schedules and opening requirements.
• Monitor progress, schedule, quality and compliance with design intent and codes.
• Escalate risks and manage contractor performance as needed.
• Review bid analyses and ensure scope alignment before purchasing awards.
• Oversee turnover, closeout, and post-opening documentation.
