Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Director, Americas Sales Finance to join the GTM Finance team in FP&A. You will partner with Americas Sales and Finance leaders to drive data-driven investment decisions and optimize field capacity for long-term growth and profitability.

You will bring deep finance acumen, executive communication, and a hands-on approach to solve complex problems, translate data into clear recommendations, and lead a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent quantitative field.
• 10+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience in high-growth environments preferred.
• Strong business partnership with senior Sales and Finance leaders and sound financial judgment.
• Experience building and maintaining driver-based financial and operating models; advanced Excel/Sheets skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic Finance partner to Americas Sales leadership, providing financial insight and recommendations on growth priorities and investments.
• Analyze regional performance against core KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and translate trends into executive-level insights.
• Partner with Sales Strategy and Sales Operations to connect operating plans, pipeline, coverage, and financial outcomes.
• Bring the Americas perspective into broader GTM and Finance decisions, surfacing regional risks and opportunities.
• Develop analyses and recommendations on trade-offs across segments, geographies, and GTM initiatives.
• Develop a high-performing team and foster partnerships across Finance and GTM.
