Job summary

Merck seeks an Executive Director to accelerate adoption of AI-enabled transformation within Global Clinical Development. You will co-lead strategic initiatives with ESO, GCTO, BARDS, and BARDS, driving adoption, governance, and measurable value realization across global teams.

You will champion responsible AI, workforce readiness, and scalable operating models while reporting on progress and engaging senior leaders to sustain change in a complex, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership of enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
• Experience creating AI-enabled solutions and scalable operating models.
• Fluent English with strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate adoption and value realization from transformation initiatives across GCD.
• Lead the GCTO AI/Automation Hub and establish governance for AI opportunities.
• Drive metrics, adoption planning, and workforce readiness for AI-enabled work.
