Job summary

Comcast is expanding its Digital Infrastructure group to support AI computing and GPU cloud services. The Director, Business Operations will lead cross-functional deployment planning across Comcast facilities, coordinating with engineering, IT, facilities, finance and partners to deliver data-center capacity on schedule.

The role requires hands-on program management, financial acumen and the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in program management, business operations, infrastructure deployment, tech operations or consulting.
• Led complex cross-functional projects with multiple orgs and external partners.
• Strong PM capabilities: scheduling, milestones, risk management, executive reporting.
• Experience managing budgets, capex and financial performance with analytical skills.
• Ability to influence and drive accountability without direct reporting lines.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills for senior executives.
• Experience in data centers, AI, cloud infra or related capital-intensive environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional planning and coordination of data-center deployments with engineering, facilities, IT platform, technology and external partners.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and accountability across workstreams.
• Coordinate site readiness: power, cooling, network, procurement, infra modifications and ops requirements.
• Track progress, identify constraints, facilitate issue resolution and escalate risks to senior leadership.
• Coordinate deployment activities with business and customer requirements; align site readiness and schedules with commercial commitments.
• Oversee project budgets, capex and financial commitments; monitor costs and changes against investment plans.
• Support development of business cases, site evaluations, timelines and capital requirements.
• Establish governance, reporting and comms processes with status reviews and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to ensure timely delivery and resolve dependencies.
• Partner with technical and operations teams on readiness, milestones and transition to operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve execution and implement repeatable deployment practices.
