Job summary

JLL is seeking a PMO Lead within Workplace Management Technology to own and operate the TPMO, guiding a team of Project and Program Managers and driving ROI-focused delivery across multi-workstream technology initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, governance, and AI-enabled efficiency, with compensation in a six-figure USD range. Location is Remote - Chicago, IL, and visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in project/program management and 3+ years leading a PMO or a team of PMs/PgMs.
• Experience owning backlog/portfolio prioritization frameworks and delivery governance at scale.
• People management experience: performance management, coaching, and team development.
• Strong command of SDLC/Agile delivery models and running them in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent executive communication skills and ability to present status clearly to senior leadership.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools and using them to improve productivity and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of Project/Program Managers; set goals, conduct 1:1s, manage performance, and staffing decisions.
• Own prioritization and sequencing framework for product development backlog and maintain defensible scoring criteria.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery tracking across all active initiatives with milestones, dependencies, risks, and status.
• Design and enforce ROI/cost-benefit discipline during requirements/intake handoff.
• Improve delivery operating mechanics and governance gates to reduce cycle time and improve predictability.
• Represent the PMO in leadership forums and maintain accurate, source-backed portfolio health updates.
• Lead AI adoption across the team and identify high-value use cases in delivery work.
