Remitly, Inc. in Seattle seeks a Director of People Operations & Workforce Technology (AI) to lead the global People organization through transformation at the intersection of people, process and technology.

You will own end-to-end workflows, oversee the People tech ecosystem (Workday), partner with IT and Legal, and drive AI-enabled improvements in service delivery, data governance, and workforce decision-making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading People Operations, HR Technology, or related ops in a high-growth tech company.
• Experience leading complex M&A, restructures, and People technology implementations.
• Develop repeatable playbooks for consistent company-wide execution.
• Design scalable operating models, workflows and business processes.
• Experience implementing AI/automation initiatives that improve performance.
• Strong systems thinking with leadership of Workday or enterprise platforms.
• Executive dashboards and translating workforce data into business decisions.
• Exceptional program management for cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to connect People investments to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead global People Operations and service delivery transformation.
• Create a simple front door for employees and managers to access support.
• Establish clear service standards, ownership and escalation paths.
• Improve core HR processes from hire through exit with automation.
• Own the People technology ecosystem, including Workday.
• Improve data quality, governance and reporting on workforce data.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations for leaders.
• Own the automation roadmap with high-impact opportunities.
• Redesign end-to-end workflows, not just individual tasks.
• Move AI use cases from experimentation to scaled adoption.
• Partner with IT, Engineering, Legal, Compliance and People leaders.
• Measure AI impact on capacity, cycle time, quality and experience.
• Design operating models connecting people, processes, systems, data and content.
