Job summary

Remitly is seeking a Director of People Operations & Workforce Technology (AI) to lead the transformation at the intersection of people, process, and technology.

You will own the operational backbone of the People Team, redesigning end-to-end workflows and embedding AI and automation to improve the employee experience and create capacity across Talent Acquisition, People Partners, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and People Analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading People Operations and global teams in high-growth tech companies.
• Experience implementing AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of global People Operations, including Tier 0/1 support and shared services.
• Own the People technology ecosystem and governance, including data quality and reporting.
• Drive the People operations automation roadmap with measurable outcomes.
• Redesign end-to-end workflows to improve speed, quality and capacity across the People function.
• Lead complex, cross-functional programs from design through adoption and governance.
• Establish operating rhythms, risks, decisions, and resource alignment for initiatives.
