Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director in the Controllership group to own the Finance system architecture, data flow, and enhancement roadmap. You will bridge accounting requirements with technical execution and oversee the Workday Cloud ERP ecosystem with AI-driven automation.

The role requires 12+ years in accounting/finance transformation, deep ERP expertise, and strong executive communication. This hybrid position collaborates across Accounting, Finance, Engineering, and Operations.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial systems, or finance transformation.
Strong background in R2R processes and accounting data architecture.
Experience influencing executives and cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
Expertise with enterprise ERP systems and data architecture, including Workday.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic R2R initiatives across revenue and non-revenue functions.
Sponsor the finance technology stack, deploying ERP enhancements and reporting infrastructure.
Redesign end-to-end R2R cycles to drive efficiency and faster insights.
Act as primary change agent, guiding cross-functional teams through transitions.
Own the accounting ERP system and define architecture, data integrity, and scalability.
Partner with IT to manage ERP production issues with minimal disruption.
Lead AI-driven automation initiatives to modernize accounting workflows.
Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, M&A to align Controllership initiatives.
