Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director in Controllership to own the finance system architecture, data flow, and automation roadmap. You will bridge complex accounting needs with technical execution, guiding Workday ERP evolution and AI-enabled finance automation at scale.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, drive end-to-end R2R cycles, and align initiatives with global process owners while partnering with IT to resolve ERP issues and deliver strategic financial insights.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial systems, or finance transformation, with a strong background in R2R.
• Technical acumen with enterprise ERP systems and accounting data architecture.
• Strategic execution driving scalable system solutions.
• Exceptional executive communication to influence stakeholders.
• Experience with AI transformation in finance.
• BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance/IS; equivalent experience.
• Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS and SOX audit framework.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee comprehensive R2R initiatives across revenue and non-revenue functions.
• Act as sponsor for the finance technology stack, deploying ERP enhancements, automation, and reporting.
• Redesign end-to-end R2R cycles to drive efficiency and faster insights.
• Own the accounting ERP system architecture, data integrity, and scale.
• Partner with IT to manage ERP production issues with minimal disruption.
• Lead AI/automation roadmap to modernize accounting workflows.
• Drive alignment across Accounting, Finance, Engineering and Operations.
• Identify and deploy AI use cases to scale automated finance operations.
• Lead Global Controllership alignment with GPOs and tech teams.
• Communicate project updates and accounting data clearly to executives.
