Job summary

Prudential seeks a Director of Communications Technology Innovation to lead the AI acceleration agenda within Communications. The role reports to the VP and focuses on practical AI strategies, governance, and scalable AI-powered workflows. Hybrid on-site presence is required.

You will shape adoption roadmaps, partner across Security, Legal, Brand, and Tech teams, and develop training to empower communicators to use AI responsibly.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in AI enablement, marketing technology, digital innovation or related transformation roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus on technology, communications, or business.
• Practical fluency with generative AI, Copilot, LLMs, prompt engineering and automation.
• Strong product and implementation mindset from pilot to adoption with governance.
• Experience in responsible AI, data privacy, information security and risk controls.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Proven partnership skills with technology, legal, brand and communications teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI transformation agenda for Communications with governance and adoption.
• Develop training, playbooks and change enablement to drive adoption.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to align AI initiatives with standards.
• Translate communications needs into requirements, pilots, and priorities.
• Measure adoption, quality and productivity impacts of AI tooling.
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and build business cases.
• Drive continuous improvement of tools and workflows.
