Job summary

Milltown Partners in New York is seeking a Director who will lead high-stakes technology, business and culture client work, building and guiding teams to deliver breakthrough campaigns across corporate communications and advisory services.

You will shape strategic direction, drive new business, and help scale our AI-enhanced advisory capabilities while developing talent and nurturing client relationships at the C-suite level.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of corporate communications experience in consultancy or in-house, including tech
• Proven ability to develop research-driven communication strategies influencing senior stakeholders
• Experience building advisory relationships with C-suite leaders and delivering strategic counsel under pressure
• Track record of developing media strategies and managing relationships with senior editors
• Experience leading competitive pitches and new business conversations with demonstrable results
• Existing network within technology, policy, media or investor communities
• Experience leading high-performing teams and coaching others
• Strong grasp of AI tools and their application in advisory work

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships at the highest level and shape strategic direction
• Structure teams for success and coach teams to deliver brilliant work
• Guide AI-enabled advisory capabilities and develop best practices across the firm
• Identify and convert new opportunities, lead competitive pitches and new business discussions
• Build external networks to drive opportunities and contribute to firm growth
• Foster an inclusive culture and support the development of colleagues across the US team
