You will guide identity, authentication, and developer-platform initiatives, balancing security, user experience, time‑to‑market, and regulatory needs while shaping the CIAM roadmap for a secure, scalable future.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 10+ years applied experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage complex items across an organization.
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams delivering high-availability identity services.
• Experience with zero-downtime migrations, blue/green or canary deployments, and SLOs for auth services.
• Hands-on cloud-native experience on AWS with secure-by-default patterns and cost-aware scaling.
• Expertise in CS/Engineering with distributed systems and high-availability design.
• Proven ability to deploy AI tools to boost developer productivity with governance.
• Hands-on experience architecting agentic CIAM systems with audits and guardrails.
• Deep understanding of IAM standards: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, FIDO2/WebAuthn.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple identity, authentication, and customer-access technology programs across departments.
• Directly manages areas with strategic, transformational focus (identity architecture, login, platform tooling).
• Provides leadership to software engineering and platform teams across public cloud and hybrid environments.
• Interacts with senior leaders to balance security, UX, time-to-market, and compliance.
• Manages stakeholders and complex projects across identity proofing and login experiences.
• Influences adoption of IAM standards and CI/CD modernization with KPI tracking.
• Champions AI-augmented engineering culture to raise code velocity and quality with AI copilots.
• Sets vision for CIAM agentic capabilities and ensures safety and auditability.
