Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
• Deep experience in authorization, identity protocols, distributed systems security, or secure service architecture.
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, token security, workload identity, least privilege, and policy enforcement.
• Experience in engineering delegated-access, service-to-service, tool-integration, or AI-agent systems.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and engineering roadmap for agent identity, delegated authorization, tool interaction, and cross-protocol security.
• Lead technical contributions to standards-setting organizations, translating requirements into proposals and implementation guidance.
• Contribute to reference architectures and implementations for identity, authentication, and authorization approaches.
• Develop reference architectures and implementations that distinguish agent identity, customer intent, delegated authority, mandates, policy decisions, and evidence.
• Engineer patterns for bounded delegation, authority attenuation, revocation, human approval, and enforcement at boundaries.
