Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading technologists.
• Deep experience with digital identity, authentication, federation, or credential exchange.
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with credential issuance/presentation protocols and digital wallets.
• Delivery of working software, reference architectures, reusable components, and automated tests.
• Experience with cloud-native systems, secure APIs, and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and engineering roadmap for identity and credential protocols.
• Lead contributions to industry standards and interoperability testing.
• Develop reference architectures for identity federation, authentication, and secure API access.
• Define interfaces and message flows linking identity capabilities with commerce use cases.
• Engineer reusable components and automated tests for protocol behavior and security.
• Mentor technologists and communicate decisions to senior stakeholders.
