Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading large cross-functional technologists to deliver high-availability services.
• Proven ability to influence across matrixed organizations and deliver value at scale.

Responsibilities

• Leads identity, authentication, and customer-access programs across departments to achieve technology objectives (CIAM modernization, password-less adoption, AI-based productivity).
• Directs identity architecture, authentication engineering, developer platform/tooling, and site reliability for CIAM services with secure-by-design focus.
• Provides leadership to software engineering and platform teams across multiple platforms, divisions, and cloud environments (AWS and hybrid).
• Interacts with senior leaders to balance security, customer experience, time-to-market, and compliance needs.
• Manages stakeholders and cross-product collaborations spanning identity proofing, authorization, risk-based authentication, and login experiences across web and mobile channels.
• Drives adoption of IAM standards (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, FIDO2/WebAuthn) and CI/CD improvements, testing, observability, and incident practices.
• Champions an AI-augmented engineering culture by tracking KPIs for velocity, test quality, change failures, and MTTR with AI copilots and automated reviews.
