Job summary

T-Mobile's Forward Deployment Engineering organization seeks a Sr Manager to lead the management layer of the FDE practice. You will oversee multiple pods across business domains, ensuring high performance, technical credibility, and alignment with BU directors and VPs on ROI outcomes.

The role requires deep AI/ML engineering background, ability to manage managers, and drive cross-functional collaboration with CoE engineering, HR, and Finance while upholding data privacy and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years total experience in technical and people leadership roles, including 5+ years of management experience.
• 10+ years preferred with multi-domain programs and forward deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and strategic direction for agentic AI delivery and architectural decisions.
• Coordinate resources across pods, manage headcount planning and hiring pipelines with BU leaders.
• Serve as senior point of contact with BU Directors and VPs, aligning ROI outcomes with roadmaps.
• Maintain practice health, delivery standards, and responsible AI, data security, and privacy.
• Manage multiple FDE pods across business domains, coaching and career development.
