Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure in Henderson, CO is seeking an Operator II - HDD to lead directional drilling, trenchless conduit placement, and project completion with the field crew.

The role requires 1+ year HDD experience, CDL-A with airbrake, and the ability to perform heavy manual work in all weather. You will coordinate with supervisors and laborers to ensure safe, high-quality installations and timely project closeouts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Horizontal Directional Drilling experience.
• Strong knowledge of underground utilities.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations (Vehicle & Operator Qualifications).
• Ability to read and follow quality and safety policies.
• CDL-A with airbrake endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Horizontal Directional Drill daily on outside plant projects.
• Assist potholing and remediation work as needed.
• Assist with setting hand holes and completing tie-ins.
• Drive equipment to job site and set up drill with accessories.
• Confirm bore path with locator/lead and monitor progress.
• Conduct pre-/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance.
