Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator to install fiber, copper, and power cables using HDD trenchless methods. You will read prints, operate HDD rigs, and mentor teammates in rural and urban environments.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, field experience with HDD crews, and a safety-focused approach to equipment maintenance and site setup. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in varied environments.
• Ability to read prints and schematics relevant to HDD installs.
• Willingness to mentor and train other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for underground cable/conduit installations.
• Ensure proper steering and adherence to grade alignment specifications.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on equipment; perform minor repairs.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Support the team with basic labor tasks and site cleanup with traffic control.
