Job summary

B.H. Inc. is seeking a high-level Horizontal Directional Drill Operator for our western U.S. operations. The role leads on project sites, directs quality, and ensures compliance while coordinating with the HDD Foreman on large-scale utility installs (pipes 6" to 24").

Qualified candidates have 3+ years HDD experience, a valid CDL A, and expert Falcon F5/Ditch Witch controls proficiency, with travel up to 90% of the time. Competitive hourly pay, sign-on bonus, and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years HDD Operator experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Expert proficiency with Falcon F5 and Ditch Witch controls.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time (4–6 week stints).
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Operate Ditch Witch rigs (JT25, AT60, JT60) and guide drill bits using the Falcon F5.
• Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Lead utility pot-holing and manage tooling changes for various ground conditions.
• Maintain a proactive, positive, and professional attitude toward site safety.
