Job summary

Primoris Gas Operations in the Denver Metro Area is seeking an experienced HDD Operator. You will locate utilities, operate horizontal directional drill rigs (including Vermeer 9X13), and perform bore operations safely and efficiently.

The role requires 5+ years in construction or utility distribution, a Class A CDL preferred, and strong map-reading skills. This is a union position with weekly pay, a company vehicle, and sick leave as required by Colorado law.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is highly preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in construction or utility distribution.
• 1+ years supervising employees.
• Class A CDL highly preferred, with endorsements.
• Experience with 9X13 Vermeer horizontal directional drill rig.
• Andrew knowledge of utility locating concepts and One Call System rules.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage and coordinate bore boring operations.
• Perform safe and accurate bore locates and potholing of underground utilities.
• Maintain high standards in both quality and quantity of locating work.
• Represent company professionally with contractors, vendors and customers.
• Follow QUS field policy and safety procedures.
