Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC in Jarrell, Texas is hiring a Laborer II to provide outside plant (OSP) installation support on utility construction sites. This non-exempt role requires the ability to perform general manual labor in all weather, read prints, and assist with setup, traffic control, and equipment operation under supervision.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience required.
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience on Drill/Hydro/Mini/Bucket Truck required.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Competent Person and OSHA 10 certifications strongly preferred (within 6 months of hire).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor in all weather conditions (digging, installing utilities, moving material).
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks (loading/unloading, photos, traffic control).
• Operates heavy equipment (drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with guidance.
• Reads prints and construction drawings; maintains safety standards on site.
• Provides training and support to entry level laborers; adheres to safety procedures.
