Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two+ years' experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Must also have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients in basic living skills and daily personal tasks, including showers, dressing, housekeeping, shopping, meals, and budgeting.
• Provides transportation to activities and appointments; Arkansas driver's license required.
• Maintains communication via logs and staff meetings about clients' needs and progress.
• Completes documentation such as behavioral reports, incident reports, forms, and progress notes.
• Follows documentation and maintenance of records for vehicles and Medicaid guidelines.
