Friendship Community Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join an interdisciplinary team in the home and community setting. You will assist clients with daily living tasks, provide transportation, and document progress toward care plans.

Adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality policies is required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, or 2+ years’ experience with developmentally disabled individuals, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or two+ years of experience with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Assist Clients in basic living skills and daily personal tasks.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments; Arkansas Driver's License required.
• Maintain communication regarding clients’ needs and progress toward their plan of care by end of shift.
• Complete documentation: Behavioral Reports, Incident Reports, Personal Care Sheets, Progress Notes, and other required forms.
• Follow medication management guidelines and assist in monitoring procedures.
• Organize and carry out recreational activities for clients.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and policy guidelines.
