Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities in New York. The role focuses on daily living support, advocacy, and building community connections.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, fluency in English, and a NY driver’s license with driving experience for driving roles. Prior experience with IDD or behavioral health is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Fluent in English for client communication.
• New York State driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience required for driving positions.
• Experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals.
• Assist with daily living activities and community engagement.
• Administer medications as directed and support healthcare appointments.
