Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. If you are a high school graduate, college student, or have evening/weekend availability, this role offers meaningful, flexible work.

As a DSP, you will assist with daily living skills, encourage community participation, document progress, and communicate with the care team to ensure high-quality support.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Help with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Accurately documenting care, activities, and progress.
• Communicate with team members to ensure consistent, quality support.
