Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them live as independently as possible. Starting pay ranges from $13 to $15 per hour with weekly pay.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, documenting progress, and promoting choice and self-advocacy. Qualifications include being at least 18, high school diploma, background check, and reliable

Qualifications

At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful background check and required training.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities.
Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities.
Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation).
Encourage participation in social and community activities.
Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
Promote choice, independence and self-advocacy.
Document care, activities and progress; communicate with team to ensure quality support.
