Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them live as independently as possible.

You’ll assist with daily living tasks, encourage social participation, document progress, and collaborate with the care team. A high school diploma, background check, and reliable transportation are required; flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities and events.
• Document care, activities, and progress; communicate with the care team.
