Job summary

Bridgewell seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential programs. The role involves daily living skills support, safety, and community integration, with training provided for specialized interventions.

Shifts include Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 AM–11:00 PM (28 hours). Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience; valid US driver’s license is needed for transportation

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Word/Excel and web applications.
• Ability to drive a large vehicle and hold a valid US driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with daily living skills during day, evening, and overnight hours.
• Foster independence by creating opportunities for decision-making and skill development.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in service delivery.
• Assist with medical, clinical, and financial needs of individuals.
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and activities as needed.
• Maintain documentation such as progress notes, shift checklists, and assignments.
