Job summary

Sevita is seeking Direct Support professionals to empower individuals in residential settings. You will provide direct assistance with daily living, health maintenance, and community integration while documenting progress and ensuring safety and privacy.

The role supports 1–3 individuals, requires a valid driver’s license, and involves scheduling, training, and teamwork in a 24/7 program environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support: assist individuals with daily living and community activities.
• Records: document progress and maintain confidentiality.
• Management of Assets: make budget-conscious purchases for individuals.
• Relationships: maintain professional, respectful relationships with families and case managers.
• Reporting: report abuse, incidents and medical events as required.
• Rights: protect the rights of individuals and follow the bill of rights.
