Job summary

HopeTree Family Services seeks a Staff Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals in a DDM program (Group Home, Day Services, and Community Engagement). The role focuses on supervision, scheduling, and coaching DSPs to provide safe, person-centered supports for individuals with I/DD.

The position requires at least one year of supervisory experience in human services, with a preference for a related degree.

Qualifications

At least one year of documented experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Preferred: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Human Services or a related field.
At least one year of supervisory experience in a Human Services or related field.
Ability to demonstrate leadership, emotional maturity, and patience to support individuals with I/DD.
Must have acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and represent the agency positively in the community.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day oversight to DSP staffing levels and activities.
Coordinate scheduling and on-site supervision of Direct Support Professionals.
Lead training and coaching to DSPs to ensure high-quality services.
Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, including incident reporting.
Coordinate with supervisors on policy adherence and program operations.
Support regional management with meetings and staff coverage, including after-hours on-call duties.
