Job summary

HopeTree Family Services is seeking a Staff Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals in our DDM program. The role focuses on day-to-day supervision, coaching, and scheduling to ensure safe and inclusive supports for individuals with I/DD.

Responsible for on-site leadership, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with the team to promote person-centered growth and community integration. Weekend and overnight on-call coverage is required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working with individuals with I/DD.
• A year of supervisory experience in Human Services or a related field.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Strong leadership, emotional maturity and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight to ensure staffing levels and a safe, organized environment.
• Coordinate on scheduling, training, and on-call coverage for DSPs.
• Promote compliance with 12VAC regulations and HopeTree policies.
• Coach, teach, and mentor DSPs in home management and person-centered supports.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, progress notes, and records are kept up to date.
• Support regional leadership with meetings and 24/7 on-call coverage.
