Royal Crown Homes LLC is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide essential care and 1:1 or 1:2 support to individuals in their homes or in the community.

This role involves light housekeeping, planning meals, managing medications, transportation, and fostering independent living skills.

Shift options include Saturdays and weekends; requires Minnesota driver's license and reliable vehicle; benefits include 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a DHS background study.
• Valid Driver's License, Full coverage insurance, Reliable vehicle.
• Fluent in English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or 1:2 care in clients' homes or community settings.
• Support individuals in independent living skills and mental health management.
• Teach and model community integration skills (medication management, finances, transportation, home tasks).
• Engage with clients to facilitate socialization and appropriate behavior.
• Participate in recreational activities and promote healthy living habits.
• Bi-weekly meetings with supervisor to discuss schedules and client issues.
• Light housekeeping and meal planning/preparation.
• Assist with activities in the community and appointments.
• EVV compliance and trainings as required.
• Follow the client support plan and document care activities.

Overview Royal Crown Homes is looking for dedicated caregivers to join our team. These roles involve providing essential care and 1:1 or 1:2 support to individuals in their homes or in the community to ensure their well-being and comfort.

• This may include all levels of direct care. Paid training

***This position requires a valid Minnesota drivers license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance***

SHIFTS

• 1. Every Saturday 8AM-4PM (Female Only)
• 2. WEEKENDS 8AM-3PM
• 3. WEEKENDS 3PM-10PM
• 4. WEEKENDS 3PM-9PM

IHS With Training

After initial training is completed-Pay $17-$19/hr

This community based service is focused on teaching and training individuals on independent living skills, and community oriented skills .

Role Responsibilities

• Support individuals in independent living skills through 1:1, or 1:2 service.
• Support individuals in mental health management through identifying coping skills, practicing coping skills, and alternative methods.
• Teach and model community integration skills such as: self-managing medications, managing personal finances, appropriate interpersonal interactions, managing the public transportation system, completing the necessary tasks to maintain a home, and accessing community resources.
• Interacts informally with individuals to facilitate socialization and appropriate behavior.
• Participates in scheduled and spontaneous recreational events.
• Teaches healthy living habits and develops the accompanying skills.
• You will meet bi-weekly with your supervisor to discuss your schedule and consult about client issues

Role Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the kitchen, washing dishes, among other chores.
• Going to activities and places in the community which may include appointments as needed.
• Planning and preparing meals.
• Washing laundry and linens.
• Making and changing the bed.
• Caring for pets and plants.
• Staff is occasionally required to carry up to 50 lbs.
• Following the universal precautions rules to ensure the client's safety 100% of the time.
• EVV Compliance
• Complete required 245D trainings upon hire and an annual basis.
• Other duties listed in person support plan.
• You will meet bi-weekly with your supervisor to discuss your schedule and consult about client issues.

IHS Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Pass a DHS background study.
• Maintaining high level of clients confidentiality, adhering to all HIPPA regulations.
• You will meet bi-weekly with your supervisor to discuss your schedule and consult about client issues.
• Must be willing to work in various environments which may include household pets, smoking, untidy living areas, children.
• Can work well with a diverse population, including people with low-income, who struggle with substance abuse, criminal backgrounds, and people with developmental, mental and physical disabilities.
• Record arrival and departure for every client visit via Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
• Valid Driver's License, Full coverage insurance, Reliable vehicle
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English language.
• Must be trustworthy, reliable, and willing to work entire shifts fulfilling all obligations
• Interpersonal skills: sensitivity and compassion towards clients.
