Job summary

AHL Healthcare Group is hiring Direct Support Professionals for our Edgemont Blvd, MN home to support adults with disabilities. You will provide advocacy, care, education, and daily living support in a 4-bedroom setting focused on residents living fulfilled, safe lives.

Position offers part-time hours (8am-2pm, 2pm-10pm) with every-other-weekend requirements and a starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Join a compassionate team making a real difference in residents' lives.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Pass a MN DHS Background Study.
• Available to work every other weekend.
• Current Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Clean Record.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and cleaning.
• Activities of the daily living.
• Medication administration & documentation.
• Socializing with residents (playing games, watching movies, going for walks, bonfires, etc.).
• Going to appointments & outings with clients (shopping, movies, fishing, etc.).
• Making a difference in the lives of others.

About our Adult Foster Care division - At Home Living

A DSP functions as an advocate, supporter, educator and caregiver to individuals with disabilities. We believe in our clients and their right to live in the least-restrictive environment. We also ensure that the homes they live in allow them to lead fulfilled lives while remaining safe and well-cared-for. Our programs are 4-bedroom residential settings & centered around the individuals we support.
