Out of the Box Solutions in Oregon City is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work one-on-one with individuals with ID/DD, helping them with daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals. You’ll provide compassionate support in a respectful, person-centered approach.

This role emphasizes consistent, meaningful engagement and flexible scheduling to fit your life. A positive mindset and strong communication are essential to empower clients daily.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must pass all state-required background checks and meet ODDS employment eligibility requirements
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client).
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged.
• Follow care plans and goals.
• Communicate with families and your team.
• Complete notes and documentation.
