Out of the Box Solutions in Oregon City is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work one-on-one with individuals with ID/DD, helping them with daily routines and community involvement. You will follow care plans, communicate with families, and document progress to empower clients toward personal goals.

The role offers flexible scheduling, a supportive team, and meaningful, person-centered work that makes a real difference every day.

Qualifikationen

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Client 1:

• Male | 9yrs | 97140
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 2:30 pm-5:30 pm and some weekend hours
• Likes: Being physically active and that helps keeps his mind busy, loves both his family dogs, labor-doodles, the dogs help reduce his stress and anxiety. Communication is very important to him
• Needs: Must be Neuro-diversity affiring, be familiar with or willing to learn the declarative language and/or low demand language. Be kind and patient and work on redirection and communication

Client 2:

• Male | 9yrs | 97140
• Schedule: Mon- Fri 2:30 pm- 5:30pm and some weekend hours
• Likes: Enjoys a balance of social interaction along with his introverted needs. Loves staying active and is very athletic
• Needs: Help with creating a routine, predictability and prepping him especially in new situations, giving him time and space to calm down when he becomes frustrated. Being patient and willing to listen when he is speaking or needs something.

• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
